Fountain Design Limited like the rest of the manufacturing sector have been hit hard by Covid 19. In the absence of orders we have applied ourselves to developing our own novel generators. These include a Vernier Hybrid Machine and a High Voltage Subsea Generator.

Fountain Design Limited have recently supplied and fitted two 30kW CGen Generators. These machines have been successfully tested in a back to back rig and one will be transferred to Mocean's Blue Horizon device for testing at EMEC later in 2020.

Built for Newcastle University this novel device was used to successfully test a linear generator at the FloWave facility in Edinburgh.

Weighing in at 24 tonne and standing over 9m tall, Neptune is an impressive piece of engineering, it is a 150kW linear generator test rig that has undergone extensive trials at Leith Docks.
